Meet our corduroy: soft, plush 8-wale cotton with zero stretch. It comes pre-washed, so it's ready when you are, and it doesn't shift under your needle from start to finish. Think totes, pouches and anything that could use a little texture.

Our corduroy is pre-washed and non-stretch, so it stays stable while you sew. Cut all your pieces with the wales running in the same direction so the colour looks even across your bag. Use a 90/14 universal or jeans needle, a stitch length of about 3 mm, and a walking foot to keep the layers from shifting. Press from the wrong side over a towel so you don't flatten the wales.

Iron only on the back side, following the wale direction. Spot clean with mild soap and lukewarm water to maintain its unique texture.
