    Solid faux leather for bag making

    Our solid faux leather is the foundation of so many handmade bags: bag bodies, bases, straps, tabs and accents. Every style has a soft fleece backing that cuts cleanly and sews smoothly on a home machine.

    We carry three solid styles

    • Pebble, a classic pebbled texture that never goes out of style.
    • Heritage and Windsor, vintage inspired with just the right amount of charm.
    • Signature, ultra matte and soft, like micro suede.

    Sewing tips

    For best results, use a 90/14 Microtex needle, a stitch length of at least 3mm, a Teflon foot and polyester thread like Gütermann Mara 70.
