Our printed faux leather (sometimes called printed vinyl or patterned faux leather) is pliable enough to sew on a regular domestic machine, sturdy enough to hold its shape, and so vibrantly printed it might steal the show from whatever you're stitching it into. Saffiano vs Pebble what's the difference?
We carry our printed faux leather in two textures, and they both share the same flexibility, weight, and feel. The only difference is the texture pattern stamped into the surface:
- Saffiano — a fine, cross-hatched texture with subtle diagonal lines. Has that classic, designer-bag feel. Great for sleek wallets, key fobs, card holders, pouches, and pieces where you want a refined, polished look.
- Printed Pebble — a soft, dimpled texture that looks like the surface of natural pebbled leather.
A note on stiffness
The stiffness of any printed faux leather depends on the backing — either fleece-backed (softer, more flexible, great for squishier bags) or canvas-backed (sturdier, more structured, great for projects that need to hold a clean shape like card holders, wallets, and key fobs). The backing type is noted in each product description, so you can pick the right one for your project.
