How to sew vinyl and faux leather on a home machine
You don't need an industrial machine. These are the settings we recommend for our faux leather:
- A 90/14 Microtex needle for clean, even stitches
- A longer stitch length of at least 3mm
- A Teflon foot so faux leather and clear TPU glide instead of sticking
- Polyester thread, such as Gütermann Mara 70
- Clips instead of pins, because pin holes stay in vinyl and faux leather
