(1) 18" head-to-head handbag zipper for the top closure
(1) 10" handbag zipper for the front pocket (View A only)
Pattern assumes 1.25" zipper tape, and zippers are intentionally longer for easier construction
Prefer zipper by the yard? You'll need 1 yard total plus three pulls

Hardware needed:

(1) 1" (25 mm) D-ring
(1) 1.5" (38 mm) strap slider
(1) 1.5" (38 mm) swivel snap
View B only: 14 mm magnetic snap or size 24 metal spring snap (in place of the front zipper)
1.5 yards of 1.5" wide cotton webbing for the strap (or add 1/4 yard to your exterior fabric for a fabric strap)

Fabric requirements:

Exterior: 5/8 yard (1 yard if making a fabric strap)
Lining: 5/8 yard (includes interior pocket)
Fusible woven interfacing: 1.25 yards of Pellon SF101 (1.5 yards if making a fabric strap), 20" wide

Recommended fabrics:

Exterior: canvas, 8 to 10 oz weight
Lining: quilting cotton or lightweight canvas

Water-soluble pen or tailor's chalk
Cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter
Size 14 or 16 denim or Microtex needle
