The October bag that outlives the candy.
This kit has everything you need to sew both the Large Steeltown Tote and the Hamilton Pouch by Hammerstitch Bags.
I love this pattern because it has full size tote proportions and clean lines. Mine goes to work with me. It has also done the farmers market, a grocery run and one extremely ambitious library trip. The pouch is for the small things: spare mittens, a granola bar and the good pens you do not want anyone else touching.
Choose your statement exterior fabric: Wing It, Dying to Dance, or Family Portrait.
✨ What's Inside
- The exterior fabric of your choosing
- Water-resistant canvas or Dayflex for lining (Depending on Kit)
- Webbing for straps
- Fusible fleece
- Matching zipper and zipper pull
Why Makers Love This Project
- Two projects, one kit. The Large Steeltown Tote plus the Hamilton Pouch, so you finish with a matching set instead of one bag and a pile of leftovers.
- Beginner means beginner. Step by step instructions with full colour photos. If this is your first bag, this is a very good first bag.
- Tote is big enough to actually use. Full size proportions. Groceries, a laptop, a market haul, whatever your Saturday looks like.
- Nothing to print or trace. It's a measure and cut pattern, all in inches. Grab your ruler and rotary cutter and go.
