Our Signature sample pack lets you see, touch and sew our soft, suede-like faux leather before you choose a full roll.

Why makers start with a sample pack

  • See the real colours. Screens can't show colour perfectly, so you can check each shade in your own light.
  • Feel the texture first. Get to know that soft, suede-like feel before you plan a bigger bag.
  • Test it on your machine. Try a few seams with your own needle and thread before you start a project.
  • It's big enough to sew with. At about 9 × 12 inches, each piece is more than a swatch. It's enough for a zipper case, card holder or other mini project.

Use a 90/14 MicroTex needle, set your stitch length to at least 3mm, and use a Teflon foot to help it glide smoothly. We recommend polyester thread like Gütermann Mara 70 (Tex40) – it’s strong, consistent, and perfect for this material.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, and avoid harsh chemicals or solvents. Don't iron the front. If you need to smooth a crease, press lightly from the back on low with a pressing cloth.
